About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to work in special educational needs (SEN) settings across Wellingborough. These roles are ideal for experienced and dedicated TAs who are passionate about supporting pupils with complex learning needs.

You may be working with students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, or additional communication and behavioural needs, supporting them to access education in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

• Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation

• Implement EHCP targets and individual support plans

• Assist with personal care where required

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and specialist staff

• Promote a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience working within SEN or specialist settings

• A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
