Cover Supervisor

Location: Corby

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work full-time in secondary schools across the Corby area.

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
Support students with their work and maintain engagement
Follow school policies, including behaviour and safeguarding procedures
Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people (education, coaching, youth work, etc.)
Is confident managing a classroom independently
Has strong communication and organisation skills
Is adaptable, professional, and resilient
Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply)
