SEN Teacher - Specialist Provision (Severe Autism & Physical Disabilities)

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with complex needs? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a specialist school in Corby that supports pupils with severe autism (ASC) and physical disabilities.

The Role:
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with severe autism and complex physical needs
Work collaboratively with a skilled team of Teaching Assistants, therapists, and external professionals
Implement and review EHCP targets, ensuring measurable progress
Use specialist communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience supporting children or young people with severe autism and physical disabilities
Strong understanding of sensory needs and behaviour regulation strategies
Experience working within a specialist or SEND setting
A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
This position begins next term and is initially offered through Tradewind Recruitment, with a strong opportunity to transition into a permanent contract for the right candidate.
