Job Title: Flexible Cover Supervisor
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Flexible / Part-time / Full-time / Supply

Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable Flexible Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools in the Corby area. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking for flexible work in local schools.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of the regular teacher, deliver pre-set work, and ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout the lesson.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising whole classes during teacher absences

  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Supporting students with their work where required

  • Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people (school, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.)

  • Confident classroom presence

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Flexible and reliable approach to work

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Desirable:

  • Previous Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant experience

  • Degree or relevant qualification

  • Interest in teaching or education careers
