The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)

  • Inspire curiosity and critical thinking about people, places, environments, and global issues

  • Bring topics such as climate change, sustainability, population, and urban change to life through creative teaching

  • Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners

  • Contribute to wider school life, including enrichment activities, fieldwork, and departmental initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a Geography specialism

  • Strong subject knowledge and a confident, positive classroom presence

  • Innovative and reflective approach to teaching and learning

  • Commitment to inclusion, high expectations, and student progress

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
