Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Teacher to work in secondary schools in Wellingborough and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for flexible supply work, long-term placements, or a pathway to a permanent position.

About the role

You will be delivering engaging IT / Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students of varying abilities while developing their knowledge of digital skills, computing, and technology. Roles may include day-to-day supply, long-term cover, or full-time positions depending on your availability.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality IT / Computing lessons

  • Support students in developing digital and technical skills

  • Maintain strong classroom behaviour management

  • Mark and assess work where required

  • Follow school policies and procedures

  • Contribute to a positive learning environment

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching IT / Computing at secondary level

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Flexible, reliable, and professional approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
