Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to work in secondary schools in Wellingborough and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for flexible supply work, long-term placements, or a pathway to a permanent position.

About the role

You will be delivering engaging Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students of varying abilities while promoting participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards sport and fitness. Roles may include day-to-day supply, long-term cover, or full-time positions depending on your availability.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons

  • Organise and supervise practical sports activities

  • Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management

  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times

  • Contribute to extracurricular sport where required

  • Follow school policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching PE at secondary level

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Flexible, reliable, and professional approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
