Geography Instructor - Northampton
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

Pay Rate: £120-£175 per day (based on experience and responsibilities)

A number of secondary schools in Northampton are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Instructors to join their teams from April 2026. These roles offer the opportunity to teach and support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 while gaining valuable experience in a supportive school environment.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering engaging and structured Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Supporting lesson planning and adapting materials to meet a range of learning needs
- Explaining geographical concepts such as physical landscapes, human geography, and global issues in an accessible way
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Managing behaviour effectively and promoting student engagement
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
- Participating in staff training, CPD sessions, and departmental meetings
Who We're Looking For:
- Graduates with a degree in Geography or a related subject (e.g. Environmental Science, Earth Science)
- Candidates with experience teaching, tutoring, or supporting learning in any capacity
- Individuals passionate about Geography and education
- Confident communicators with strong classroom presence
- Those considering teacher training routes such as PGCE, SCITT, or QTS Apprenticeships
- Applicants with an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
