Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - SEN Provision, Irthlingborough
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a new SEN provision in Irthlingborough. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within a brand-new setting, supporting both students and staff as we establish a high-quality learning environment.
As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to deliver planned lessons, lead small group interventions, and occasionally cover classes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning and supporting students with a range of needs, including autism and SEMH.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds HLTA status or has equivalent experience
- Has strong knowledge of SEN and inclusive practices
- Is confident leading learning activities and managing behaviour
- Is proactive, organised, and adaptable
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering lessons and interventions under teacher guidance
- Supporting lesson planning and resource preparation
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
- Supporting behaviour management strategies
- Acting as a role model for both students and support staff
