ECT Pool - Primary Teachers | Preston & South Ribble
Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable experience across a range of supportive primary schools? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable ECTs to join our growing pool, supporting schools across Preston and South Ribble.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, broaden your experience across different year groups, and develop strong relationships with local schools-opening doors to long-term and permanent roles.
The Role
As part of our ECT pool, you will work across multiple primary schools, providing cover for PPA, staff sickness, and short-term absences.
Location: Preston & South Ribble
Start Date: Ongoing opportunities available
Position: Primary ECT (Supply)
Contract: Flexible (1-5 days per week)
Pay: £120 - £140 per day (dependent on planning and travel)

Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned lessons to ensure continuity of learning.
Quickly adapt to different classroom environments and school policies.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally.
Support pupils' learning, progress, and wellbeing across a range of settings.
Uphold safeguarding standards and contribute to a safe learning environment.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
Be flexible, reliable, and confident working in different schools.
Have strong classroom management and communication skills.
Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
Provide professional references and have the legal right to work in the UK.
