Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Oldham that is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Lower Key Stage 2.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dedicated school team where you will play an important role in supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality classroom support across Lower KS2
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons
- Supporting individual pupils and small groups to help raise attainment and confidence
- Encouraging positive behaviour and active participation in learning
- Helping to create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- Have a good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Be proactive, organised, and reliable in their approach
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Be committed to making a positive impact in the classroom
