Teaching Assistant - Year 2 SEND Support
Tameside
Full-Time | Long-Term Position

A Primary School in Tameside is looking to appoint a committed and resilient Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis supporting a child in Year 2 with challenging behaviour and SEND needs.

This is a long-term opportunity for a confident and proactive individual who can build strong relationships and provide consistent support within the classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience supporting children with SEND and challenging behaviour
  • Ideally hold Team Teach Training
  • Have a confident, friendly, and positive personality
  • Be resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Work effectively alongside the class teacher and SENDCO
  • Provide tailored support to help the child engage positively with learning
