A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Kettering is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join their team from ASAP or September 2026. This is a full-time position, ideally offered on a permanent basis, although fixed-term or long-term supply arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience
- Develop students' acting, devising, and performance skills through a range of practical and theoretical approaches
- Foster creativity, confidence, teamwork, and communication skills in all learners
- Support and contribute to school productions, showcases, and drama clubs
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment where all students can thrive
- Assess, track, and support student progress in line with school policies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Performing Arts and wider school departments
You'll Be a Great Fit If You:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
- Are confident delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3/KS4
- Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Are passionate about Drama and committed to raising student achievement
- Are enthusiastic about contributing to extracurricular and whole-school activities
