Hours: 8:00am - 4:15pm, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term | Potential Permanent
Salary: £100-115 per day PAYE

A vibrant and inclusive school in Wellingborough is seeking an experienced Sports Coach to join its team from September. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality sports and physical activity sessions to pupils of varying ages and abilities
  • Encourage participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles through engaging activities
  • Support pupils' physical, social, and emotional development
  • Assist with the organisation of sports events, competitions, and extracurricular clubs
  • Promote positive behaviour and act as a positive role model throughout the school
  • Work closely with teaching staff to support pupils' overall development
  • Adapt activities to ensure all pupils can participate and succeed
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment during all sporting activities

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience coaching sports within a school, club, or community setting
  • Relevant sports coaching qualifications are desirable
  • Confident leading groups of children and young people
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about sport and education
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage pupils of all abilities
  • Flexible and proactive approach to supporting school activities
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
