We are currently supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kettering that is looking to appoint a Part-Time Class Teacher from September 2026. Role Overview:
Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons aligned with the Primary National Curriculum
Take responsibility for teaching, planning, and assessment within your class
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Support pupils in their academic progress as well as their personal and social development
Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
Track pupil progress and use assessment effectively to inform next steps
Promote high expectations for behaviour, participation, and achievement
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents/carers
Contribute to the wider ethos and life of the school
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience working within a UK primary school setting
Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
Confident classroom practitioner with good behaviour management skills
Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Reflective, adaptable, and enthusiastic about improving outcomes for children
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
