TradeWind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through music and help them develop their creativity, confidence, and performance skills.

Whether you are an experienced Music Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we are looking for someone who can deliver engaging lessons and foster a love of music both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role:

  • Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 where applicable.

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to a range of musical abilities and interests.

  • Support students in developing performance, composition, and listening skills.

  • Lead or contribute to extracurricular activities, including choirs, bands, concerts, and school productions.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement.

  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and department.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching Music within a UK secondary school setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.

  • The ability to inspire and engage students of varying abilities.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
