Social Sciences Teacher - Exciting Opportunity in Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Social Sciences Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring educator to teach Social Science subjects including Sociology, Psychology, Criminology, and/or Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Social Sciences lessons

  • Teach across KS4 and KS5, depending on experience and specialism

  • Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality learning experiences

  • Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Contribute positively to departmental and whole-school initiatives

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and progress

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in a relevant Social Science subject

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching

  • Excellent classroom management skills

  • The ability to motivate and inspire young people

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
