Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner by agreement)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary/secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone looking to further their career within education.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.

The Role:

  • Support teaching and learning within the classroom

  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning

  • Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities

  • Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs

  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

  • Support the social and emotional development of students

  • Assist with assessment and recording of pupil progress where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience

  • Previous experience working within a school setting

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A patient, caring, and flexible approach

  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
