The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging English Language and English Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Inspire students to develop strong reading, writing, and communication skills
Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement
Contribute to the wider English department and whole-school literacy initiatives
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
The ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
