Are you a Science graduate looking to turn your subject knowledge into a rewarding career in education? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive secondary school in Kettering to recruit a Graduate Science Teacher to join a structured teacher training programme.

This opportunity is ideal for aspiring teachers who want to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You'll work closely with experienced Science teachers, develop your teaching skills, and play an active role in helping students achieve their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the delivery of engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Working with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.

• Assisting with practical experiments and laboratory activities.

• Helping to prepare resources and learning materials.

• Supporting classroom management and student engagement.

• Contributing to intervention sessions aimed at improving attainment in Science.

We're Looking For:

• A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related Science discipline.

• A strong interest in pursuing a career in secondary education.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• A positive, enthusiastic, and resilient attitude.

• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

• Previous experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential.
