We are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Kettering that is seeking to appoint a talented Key Stage 2 Class Teacher on a permanent basis from September 2026. The school is open to experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and offers a supportive environment where both pupils and staff are encouraged to thrive.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum

  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning to meet the needs of all pupils

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and presentation

  • Differentiate learning to ensure all pupils can access and enjoy the curriculum

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support pupil outcomes

  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community

The Ideal Candidate:

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

✔ Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or successful teaching placements for ECTs

✔ Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies

✔ Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

✔ A passion for helping children achieve their best

✔ Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

✔ A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development

✔ ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive a comprehensive induction and mentoring programme
