We are currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Kettering that is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and keen to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting children in both their academic and personal development.

The Role

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups to support learning and progress
Assisting children with additional learning needs, including SEND, where required
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
Supporting behaviour management and promoting positive relationships throughout the school
Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and displays
Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development

✔ Has experience working with children through education, childcare, sports coaching, youth work, tutoring, or care settings (desirable but not essential)

✔ Is committed to supporting children's learning, wellbeing, and development
