Nursery Assistant - Northampton | September Start
A friendly and welcoming nursery in Northampton is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive setting where every child is encouraged to learn, explore and develop through play. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced practitioners to provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for young children.
The role:
- Supporting children's learning and development through a range of fun and engaging activities.
- Helping to create a safe, caring and stimulating nursery environment.
- Encouraging children's social, emotional and physical development.
- Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, play sessions and outdoor learning.
- Working closely with the nursery team to ensure every child receives the support they need.
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool or childcare setting is desirable.
- A positive, caring and patient approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's early years development.
- A relevant Early Years qualification is beneficial but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is advantageous, although this can be arranged if required.
