The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.

  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department.

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and attendance.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Have experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school.

  • Possess excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills.

  • Are passionate about inspiring young people to enjoy and succeed in mathematics.

  • Have strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Hold, or are willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check.
