Supply Teacher - Daventry

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting confident, adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools in Daventry and the surrounding areas.

We have opportunities available across primary, secondary, SEN and alternative provision settings, with work to suit a variety of schedules and career goals.

As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, following pre-prepared plans where provided, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring pupils remain focused and supported throughout the school day. You may be asked to cover a range of subjects and year groups, depending on your experience and preferences.

The Role Will Include:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons across your chosen key stages or subject specialism
  • Following lesson plans and school policies effectively
  • Creating a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
  • Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND and SEMH needs
  • Completing handover notes and feeding back to the class teacher or relevant member of staff
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and school leaders
  • Adapting quickly to different school routines, curriculum approaches and classroom environments
  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and professionalism at all times

We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or relevant UK teaching experience
  • Strong classroom management skills and confidence leading lessons independently
  • A flexible, reliable and proactive approach
  • The ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
  • Experience working in primary, secondary, SEN or alternative provision settings is desirable
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind Recruitment
