Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a fantastic Alternative Provision in Northamptonshire that is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach students who require a more personalised approach to learning, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

The provision supports secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, anxiety, trauma and challenging behaviour. Class sizes are deliberately small, allowing teachers to build meaningful relationships and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that meet individual learning needs.

As the successful candidate, you will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting the curriculum to suit different learning styles and abilities. You will work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and senior leaders to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment where pupils can develop academically, socially and emotionally.

We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with strong classroom management skills and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people. Previous experience working within an Alternative Provision, PRU, SEN school or with pupils with SEMH needs is desirable but not essential.
