Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a confident and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and welcoming school in the Corby area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in their career and make a significant impact on students' learning and development.

As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to support the delivery of high-quality education. You will lead small group interventions, provide classroom cover when required, and help ensure all pupils are able to reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Deliver planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher.

  • Support teaching and learning across a range of year groups and abilities.

  • Lead targeted intervention groups to raise attainment and confidence.

  • Work with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

  • Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.

  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school.

  • Assist with assessment, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • HLTA status or significant experience working as a Teaching Assistant.

  • Previous experience supporting pupils within a school setting.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Confidence delivering learning activities independently.

  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting student wellbeing.
