Salary: £100 - £130 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

The Role

As an Unqualified Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged in their learning. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of education while supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive learning attitudes

  • Supervising students and ensuring they remain on task throughout lessons

  • Supporting students with varying abilities and learning needs

  • Following school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times

  • Providing feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and progress

  • Building positive relationships with students and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree educated or strong subject knowledge is desirable

  • Experience working with young people in schools, coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work, or similar settings

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Confident, adaptable, and professional approach

  • Ability to engage and motivate secondary-aged students

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
