We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Rushden that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its team on a permanent basis from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

The Role
Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across a range of curriculum subjects
Working with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to reinforce learning and improve confidence
Providing additional support for students with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and SEMH needs
Helping students remain engaged, focused, and motivated throughout the school day
Supporting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, inclusive learning environment
Assisting with targeted interventions to improve progress in literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas
Encouraging students to develop independence, resilience, and confidence in their learning
Supporting wider pastoral care and contributing to the wellbeing of students across the school
