The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with teaching staff, you will help create a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students with their learning across a range of subjects.

  • Providing one-to-one and small group interventions.

  • Assisting pupils with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs.

  • Encouraging student engagement and participation in lessons.

  • Supporting teachers with classroom preparation and behaviour management.

  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable.

  • A positive, patient, and adaptable approach.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A genuine passion for education and supporting student development.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
