Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Kettering

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Kettering area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils across the classroom to enhance learning and engagement.

  • Working with small groups and individual students who require additional support.

  • Assisting the class teacher with the planning and delivery of learning activities.

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

  • Supporting pupils with varying educational needs and abilities.

  • Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil confidence and independence.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

  • Previous experience working within a primary or secondary school setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A patient, caring and proactive approach.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

  • A genuine passion for supporting young people in education.
