This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students to develop practical skills, creativity and confidence within Design and Technology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching DT across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their understanding of design processes, materials and manufacturing techniques while encouraging innovation and problem-solving skills.
The Role:
Teach Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons
Assess, monitor and support student progress
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to the wider life of the department and school
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has experience teaching Design and Technology within a secondary school setting
Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
Has a passion for inspiring young people and promoting achievement
Possesses strong communication and organisational skills
