Teaching Assistant - Kettering

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Kettering area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people and wants to make a positive difference to their education and development. The school is looking for someone caring, reliable and enthusiastic who can build strong relationships with pupils and support them to reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils within the classroom and helping them to engage with their learning.

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.

  • Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and classroom tasks.

  • Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop confidence and independence.

  • Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to meet pupils' individual needs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.

  • A caring, patient and supportive approach.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils.

  • A proactive and flexible attitude.

  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
