Lunchtime Supervisor - Kettering

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Contract: Temporary / Ongoing
Hours: Part-time, Monday-Friday

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in the Kettering area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play an important role in creating a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime environment.

The Role

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting students during their lunch break, helping to maintain a safe and positive environment around the school.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising students during lunchtime and break periods

• Supporting positive behaviour and encouraging students to follow school expectations

• Helping to ensure students are safe around the school site

• Dealing calmly and appropriately with minor behaviour issues

• Supporting students who may need additional help or guidance

• Monitoring the dining and outdoor areas

• Reporting any concerns to relevant members of staff

• Building positive relationships with students and staff

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and confident working with young people

• Patient and able to remain calm in challenging situations

• Comfortable managing groups of students

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• Able to communicate effectively with both students and staff

• Passionate about supporting young people and contributing to a positive school environment

Previous experience working in a school or with young people is desirable but not essential, as full support will be provided.
