SEN Supervisor Required - Kettering

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Kettering that is seeking a dedicated SEN Supervisor to join their team. This rewarding role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or education professional with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs.

As an SEN Supervisor, you will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, supporting both their academic progress and personal development within a secondary school environment.

The Role:

  • Providing support and supervision for students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

  • Delivering targeted interventions on a one-to-one and small group basis.

  • Working closely with teaching staff, the SENCO, and pastoral teams to support student progress.

  • Assisting with behaviour management strategies and promoting positive engagement in learning.

  • Monitoring student wellbeing, attendance, and progress.

  • Supporting the implementation of EHCP targets and individual support plans.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school or SEN setting.

  • A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and inclusive education practices.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • The ability to remain calm, patient, and resilient in challenging situations.
