Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential within a supportive educational environment.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide academic and pastoral support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You may work with small groups, provide one-to-one support, and assist in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

* Supporting students within lessons to help them access the curriculum

* Providing targeted intervention support to individuals and small groups

* Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and behaviour management

* Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence

* Supporting students with additional learning needs where required

* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Previous experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or support capacity

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* A patient, positive, and proactive approach

* The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

* A passion for education and supporting student development

* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
