Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Teacher of French to join a welcoming secondary school in the Kettering area. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive Modern Foreign Languages department committed to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.

The Role

As a Teacher of French, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that help students develop their confidence and communication skills in a foreign language.

You will teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop a passion for languages while achieving their academic potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging French lessons

  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress

  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Encouraging confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing French

  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners

  • Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement

  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and MFL department

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Has experience teaching French within a secondary school setting

  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages

  • Can deliver creative and engaging lessons

  • Has excellent classroom management skills

  • Is committed to helping students achieve their full potential

  • Has a positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to teaching
