Role Details

  • Location: Harrow, North West London
  • Working Pattern: Full-time
  • Contract: Temporary, with the potential to become permanent
  • Salary: In line with the Main Pay Scale (MPS)
  • Parking: On-site parking available

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that develop students' understanding and confidence in mathematics.
  • Teach mathematical concepts across relevant key stages, adapting lessons to suit different abilities and learning needs.
  • Inspire students to develop their problem-solving, analytical and numerical skills.
  • Monitor student progress, assess learning and implement strategies to support academic achievement.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom management.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised equivalent, where applicable.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics.
  • Demonstrates effective classroom management and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Can deliver engaging lessons that challenge and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Is enthusiastic about helping students reach their full potential.
