Are you caring, patient and passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are currently recruiting Level 1 Teaching Assistants for full-time positions at a SEN school in Scunthorpe.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people, supporting their learning, development and wellbeing in a nurturing school environment.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and other support staff to provide pupils with the support they need to thrive. You will help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment, encouraging pupils to develop their confidence, independence and social skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with special educational needs throughout the school day.

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning tasks.

• Encouraging communication, social interaction and independence.

• Providing individual support in line with pupils' needs.

• Helping maintain a safe, positive and supportive learning environment.

• Working as part of a team to ensure every pupil receives the best possible support.

What We're Looking For

• A willingness to learn and develop within an SEN setting.

• Previous experience supporting children with additional needs is beneficial but not essential, depending on the school's requirements.
