Care & Support Workers Wanted - SEN School Roles

Have you worked in care, healthcare or supporting individuals with additional needs? Looking for a new challenge where you can make a difference every day?

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Care and Support Workers to take their skills into specialist school settings across Northamptonshire.

You don't need previous school experience! We're particularly interested in people who have worked in residential care, nursing homes, hospitals, complex care, supported living or community support.

Your experience could be a great fit if you've supported individuals with:

• Personal care, washing, dressing and toileting.

• PEG feeding and gastrostomy care.

• Moving and handling, hoisting and mobility support.

• Physical disabilities and complex medical needs.

• Autism, learning disabilities and communication difficulties.

• Non-verbal communication and assistive communication methods.

• Challenging behaviour and emotional needs.

What would the role involve?

Working as part of a supportive school team, you'll help children and young people with additional needs access education, develop independence and enjoy their school day.

This may include providing personal care, supporting mobility and medical needs, assisting with communication and building positive relationships with pupils who need a little extra support.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in care, healthcare or support work.

• Confidence providing personal care and supporting physical needs.

• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.

• Someone who is comfortable working with children and young people.

• A genuine interest in making a difference.
