Learning Support Assistant - Physical Disabilities & Complex Needs

Location: Northampton
Salary: £92.56-£95per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Start Date: ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive school in Northampton, providing dedicated support to students with physical disabilities and complex needs.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in care, SEN or support work who is confident providing both personal care and physical support.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 and/or small-group support to students with physical disabilities and complex needs
• Supporting students with personal care where required
• Assisting with manual handling, mobility and transfers
• Supporting students to access learning and participate fully in school life
• Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide consistent support

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities and/or complex needs
• Essential manual handling experience/training
• Experience supporting with personal care
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach
• Previous experience within a school, care or support setting is desirable
