Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to work within a secondary school in Daventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, has strong classroom management skills and is confident leading lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

The Role:

• Supervising classes of secondary-aged pupils during teacher absence.

• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and ensuring pupils remain on task.

• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.

• Supporting pupils with their learning and answering questions where appropriate.

• Following school policies and providing feedback to teaching staff.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils.

• Confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining discipline.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to use their initiative and adapt to different classroom environments.

• Reliable, organised and enthusiastic about supporting young people.
