Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to work within a welcoming secondary school in Bolton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who can bring Science to life, engage pupils of different abilities and create a positive learning environment. You will be teaching across KS3 and KS4, delivering a varied curriculum covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Make complex scientific concepts accessible through practical and theory-based learning.

• Support pupils with their GCSE preparation, progress and attainment.

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of different abilities and learning styles.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive classroom environment.

• Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has recent experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school.

• Has strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

• Is confident delivering practical lessons and managing classroom behaviour.

• Can build positive relationships with pupils and inspire a genuine interest in Science.

• Is reliable, adaptable and committed to raising pupil achievement.
