Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the BL3 area of Bolton starting November 2025. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, collaborating with teachers, support staff, and leadership to deliver outstanding education.
What you'll do:
Deliver high-quality support in whole class, small group, and 1:1 settings.
Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment to ensure consistency and continuity of learning.
Lead intervention programmes to support pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment, modelling behaviour expectations.
Support classroom management, ensuring smooth transitions and inclusive practices.
What we are looking for:
HLTA qualification (or equivalent, Level 4) with proven experience in primary education.
Familiarity with the KS1 & KS2 curriculum and strategies for supporting diverse learners.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Ability to adapt, be proactive, and work both independently and as part of a team.
Enhanced DBS clearance, or willingness to secure one; able to show right to work in the UK.
