Tradewind Education is looking for motivated individuals from a variety of education backgrounds to provide structured, one-to-one tuition for learners who benefit from extra support outside the mainstream classroom.

Whether you are a teaching assistant, learning mentor, unqualified teacher, youth worker, SEN specialist, or have experience in another educational setting, your skills can make a meaningful impact on a young person's life.

What the Role Involves

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition to meet each learner's needs
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that help learners overcome challenges
  • Support children who may have gaps in learning or disrupted education
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and academic progress
  • Work in schools, community centres, or libraries across Oldham (no home visits - safe, professional settings)

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people in any educational context
  • Ability to adapt learning to different abilities and needs
  • Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine desire to help learners achieve their potential
