Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to work in a welcoming and supportive school in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support to thrive in the classroom.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure every child has access to an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

• Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning materials where needed

• Supporting children with personal development, behaviour, and emotional regulation

• Helping to create a positive, safe, and nurturing environment

• Working collaboratively with staff and parents to meet individual learning targets

The ideal applicant will have:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care setting

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners
