What You'll Be Doing:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities in some schools

  • Teach a broad spectrum of content, from performance and composition to listening and appraisal

  • Incorporate instruments, technology, and software to make lessons interactive and inspiring

  • Encourage participation in ensembles, choirs, school productions, and extra-curricular music clubs

  • Support coursework and exam preparation for GCSE and/or A-Level Music

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and whole-school performances and events

  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that nurtures creativity and confidence

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) with strong grounding in music education

  • Confident teaching a variety of musical styles, instruments, and theory to secondary students

  • Comfortable using music technology such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live, GarageBand, or Sibelius

  • Able to motivate learners of all abilities through interactive, practical teaching

  • Strong classroom management and commitment to inspiring a love of music

  • Open to both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners
