Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a respected secondary school in Corby that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting April or September 2026. For the right candidate, there is a strong chance to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Teach English Language and English Literature, tailoring lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Support student progress through careful planning, assessment, and constructive feedback
* Collaborate with the English department on curriculum development, literacy initiatives, and enrichment activities
* Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages reading, discussion, and critical thinking

What We're Looking For:
* Qualified English Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching literature and language
* Reflective and committed practitioner focused on pupil achievement
* Effective classroom management skills and ability to support learners of all abilities
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Applications welcome from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
