We are working in partnership with a high-performing and inclusive secondary school in Northampton seeking to appoint a Curriculum Leader of Mathematics. About the Role

  • Lead and teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 involvement
  • Take responsibility for curriculum design, sequencing, and implementation within Mathematics
  • Analyse data to drive progress, intervention strategies, and improved attainment outcomes
  • Support the development and coaching of teaching staff within the department
  • Contribute to departmental planning, assessment frameworks, and improvement strategies
  • Promote a love of Mathematics through engaging, ambitious, and inclusive teaching
  • Work closely with senior leaders to raise standards across the faculty

About You

  • Holds QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)
  • An experienced Maths teacher with strong subject knowledge across KS3-KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Ready to take on or develop further leadership responsibilities
  • Passionate about raising attainment and closing gaps in achievement
  • Confident in curriculum planning, assessment, and data-driven improvement
  • A collaborative team leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Committed to inspiring confidence, curiosity, and achievement in Mathematics
