Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate, adaptable and dedicated Teacher to join a specialist provision in Irthlingborough from September. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity within a supportive and rewarding environment, ideal for individuals who are committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
The provision supports children and young people with a wide range of additional needs and learning differences who benefit from a more personalised and nurturing educational setting. Many pupils require tailored approaches to learning, smaller class sizes, and additional support to help them engage positively with education and build confidence both academically and socially.
Students may present with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, moderate learning difficulties, communication needs, and social or emotional challenges. The school takes a child-centred and inclusive approach, placing strong emphasis on building positive relationships, promoting emotional wellbeing, and creating a safe environment where every pupil can thrive.
As a Teacher within the provision, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and accessible lessons while supporting the wider development of pupils. This may include:
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet a range of learning needs
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils to build confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
- Working closely with support staff and external professionals to meet individual needs
- Managing behaviour positively through consistency and relationship-building
- Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies to support pupil development
We are looking for individuals who are patient, resilient, and passionate about making a positive impact in young people's lives. Previous experience working within specialist education or supporting pupils with additional needs is highly desirable, although teachers from mainstream backgrounds with the right attitude and approach are also encouraged to apply.
